It is not from the day Yogaraj Bhat has said that ‘Hen Makle Strongu Guru….that women are powerful in certain areas and certain work. Even before Bhat said they have proved their excellence in profession.

This one ‘Ring Road Shuba’ a pure entertainer with commercial elements, music, thrill and emotions is at the doorstep of Guinness World record as 16 departments of a cinema making are contributed by women.

The major hurdle in selecting some of the departments for getting hold of record came as an obstacle as minimum of five years was need for having independent card. Former KFCC President B Vijayakumar knowing the determination and possibility of a record for Kannada Naadu gave special permission. Thus the new talent surfaced from this work with ease.

Now this ‘Ring Road Shuba’ by director Priya Belliyappa and producer Rajani Ravindra Das has set an example for the national level unions and cinema workers federation.

With Priya Belliappa as ring master – director, Rajani Ravindra Das is producer, Rekha Rani is dialogue writer, Vani Harikrishns is music composer, Reshmi Sarkar is cinematographer, Shilpa Krishna is costume designer, Maryann D Souza is editor, Chitralekha Shetty is art director, Avantika Nimbalkar is sound designer, Hema BN is sound recordist, Geetha Gurappa is DTS engineer, Devanshi Desai is DI Colorist, Poonam Prasad is Makeup artist, Suman Tyagi is hair stylist, Sonam Thale is publicity stills and design, Chandrika and Jeevitha Vishwanath choreographers, Mehi Shah and Avisha Baing still photographers, Abheri De chief assistant cinematographer, Swapaneel Neogi chief assistant director, Parineeta Bhure assistant director, Bhavyasri U is assistant editor.

The trailer and one song screened on Monday evening at PVR Gold Class at Orion Mall. It looked grand and showed the skill of all women cinema ‘Ring Road Shuba’.

It is of course a tribute to 100 years of Indian cinema from Kannada filmdom and all women cinema has made us feel proud.

Priya Belliyappa addressing the media said she started off with a small dream but before release it has touched the national level in fame. It is an intriguing cinema laced with inspiration of Shuba murder case. As we discussed further we found many Shubas she informed.

Actor Vijay of Dhuniya has appeared in a film and his role in the cinema as cop really connects the real life. The film was shot in 65 days in Bangalore says Priya.

Producer Rajani Ravindra Das an advocate by profession is all set for all legal hassles. We are not doing a biopic or documentary on Shuba murder case. We have many areas and interesting narration for this film she says.

Vaani Harikrishna has composed songs for this film and for one of the duets for a couple in the film Vaani sung the film with her husband very popular music director V Harikrishna.
